All the services were moved from Astra 2C to Astra 1G. All the TP parameters and coverage stayed the same.

Eutelsat and ictQATAR Select Space Systems/Loral to Deliver Their Joint Venture Satellite

Eutelsat Communications (Euronext Paris: ETL) and ictQATAR (representing the State of Qatar) announce today that following an international consultation, Space Systems/Loral (SS/L) has been selected to build the high-performance satellite they will jointly own and operate at the 25.5° East location in geostationary orbit.

Echostar 15 is launched by Proton

BAIKONUR COSMODROME, Kazakhstan, July 11, 2010

International Launch Services (ILS) successfully launched the EchoStar XV satellite into orbit today on an ILS Proton/Breeze M for DISH Network L.L.C., the fastest-growing pay-TV provider in America. EchoStar 15 is based on LS-1300 bus and will begin operations at 61West position later this month after in-orbit testing of the satellite.
